Jenny Yates is a qualified Hypnotherapist, Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in the Gloucester area.
Jenny is an accredited Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor holding professional accredited diplomas in Hypnotherapy, Counselling and Psychotherapy and Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy, all awarded with Distinctions in recognition of her Excellent Practice and Theory Skills.

Membership of these bodies also requires Continual Professional Development (CPD), which means that she is continually updating her knowledge and learning through research and attendance at workshops and seminars, and receives regular supervision.
Jenny has a background in healthcare, as a Biomedical Scientist, specialising in Haematology, having worked in both NHS and private hospitals during her career. She also has extensive experience in healthcare management in hospital, General Practice and Primary Care Team (PCT) settings. She developed her interest in psychology by completing a diploma in Hypnotherapy which led to further diplomas in Counselling and Psychotherapy and Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy, all fully accredited by the Counselling Society and Royal college of Nursing. Jenny is working towards BACP accreditation.
Jenny has experience in a wide variety of issues and can offer analytical and suggestion hypnotherapy or counselling using an integrated approach to apply the appropriate technique to suit you therapeutically – because we are all different and what might suit one person won’t necessarily suit another.
